KET Tactical Carbine Level 1
This level one course is a pre-requisite for the level two course.
In this course you will learn the basic fundamentals of the tactical carbine. You will also learn the concepts and principles of the use of this weapon platform.
After shooting 250 rounds and the completion of this training course, you will feel very confident of your skills and the ability to use this weapon system.

Clearing the weapon
Quick magazine change
Ready gun positions:
Multiple targets
Closing the distance to the target (running and braking methods)
Kneeling, side, and prone shooting positions
Transition to handgun
Barricade shooting
The concepts of urban combat
Close quarter battle tactics
The warrior mindset
What to Bring:
Carbine – unloaded and in a case or bag
Three unloaded magazines
Sling and mag pouch
250 rounds of ammo (may or may not shoot all rounds depending on class size)
Eye & ear protection
Sack lunch, snacks and a drink for a twenty minute lunch break and other breaks
Lawn chair
Shooting gGlove for non-shooting hand recommended for charging the weapon.
A cap or hat
You may want insect repellent and sun screen.
