Mississippi Concealed Carry Permit Enhanced Carry Endorsement This course is designed to satisfy the requirements to obtain an Mississippi Concealed Carry Permit Enhanced Endorsement to civilians that wish to carry a concealed handgun into certain locations by MS Law. Not only you will earn your Mississippi Concealed Carry Permit, but also learn firearm safety, concealment tips and some basic shooting techniques. Getting your Mississippi Concealed Handgun License Enhanced Carry is a very simple process. You can take this class before submitting your application for your Permit or after you have your Permit. Requirements to obtain a MS Permit (This is an 8 hour course.): Must be a United States citizen OR Hold a valid Permanent Resident card. Must be lawfully present in the United States. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be an Mississippi Resident to obtain an Mississippi Permit Not under indictment or convicted of a felony in the U.S. or elsewhere. Not convicted of misdemeanor domestic violence. Not under court order (i.e. order of protection, harassment, etc.) Not a fugitive from justice. Not a user of, or addicted to, any controlled substance. Not been dishonorably discharged from the Armed Forces. Have never renounced U.S. citizenship. Do not suffer from mental illness and have not been adjudicated mentally incompetent or committed to a mental institution. Required Items you will bring: Valid ID Firearm – unloaded in a case or bag Additional Magazine if you have one Holster and Mag Pouch, if you have the additional Magazine Ammo – 200 rounds – you can bring your own or purchase at the range (May or May not shoot all rounds depending on class size) Eye & Ear Protection – you can bring your own or purchase at the range. Sack Lunch, snacks and a Drink – for a 20 minute lunch break and other breaks. Lawn Chair Shooting Glove for non-shooting hand recommended for working the slide on the weapon. Knee Pads (recommended) A cap or hat You might think about bug spray and sun screen. A Great Attitude and a Willingness to Learn!
